A photograph I took of Galatasaray defender Eren Elmalı was published in Libération, one of France’s most iconic and widely read national newspapers, to illustrate their coverage of the illegal betting scandal rocking Turkish football — a crisis that made headlines well beyond Turkey’s borders in November 2025.
