For this edition of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, I documented the intensity and endurance of Europe’s oldest one-day professional cycling race. This assignment provided a unique opportunity to capture Tadej Pogacar and his competitors navigating the demanding Ardennes terrain—one of cycling’s most prestigious stages where only the greatest champions prevail. My focus was on documenting the defining moments: the climbs that break riders, the breakaways that define legends, and the raw determination etched across the faces of cyclists competing for victory in one of cycling’s most demanding monuments. Each image reflects the brutal beauty of a race that separates the exceptional from the extraordinary, offering an editorial perspective on professional cycling at its highest level.
