I accompanied marathon swimmer Bengisu Avci during her attempt to cross the North Channel as part of her Oceans Seven challenge. My role was to document the journey in both photography and video, capturing not only the crossing itself but also the preparation, the atmosphere surrounding the event, and the people involved. From training sessions to the final arrival, I focused on telling the full story of this remarkable adventure—highlighting the raw environment, the physical and mental resilience required, and the human connections that shape such a feat.
